Imprinted Concrete cleaning.
At Pressure Fresh we clean all aspects of building exteriors, and so over time we have cleaned most
if not all driveway surfaces.
The surface of this huge driveway we recently cleaned is coloured imprinted concrete.
We had to
take many different factors into account – as with all pressure washing jobs – but the first thing we
did was check the water supply and the drainage. Then we went through the following process:
- Step one involved jet washing all the edges and then using a surface washer to clean the
surface evenly. The surface washer has two rotating jets that spin at high speed, which
washes the surface below. - Step two involved checking the pressure of the washer so that we didn’t damage the seal on
the concrete. It’s important to run the washer at a low bar but keep up the water flow so
that the seal stays intact but the dirt and grime is removed.
- After the imprinted concrete driveway was washed, step three was carried out by chemically
treating the surface with sodium hypochlorite and amine which was left to dwell on the
surface for 10 minutes – ensuring that it didn’t dry out – and then we gave a final rinse to the
area we treated, and the job was a great success!
