Here’s what you need to know about steam cleaning a surface. May it be a drive way or a patio as at pressure fresh we use a petrol blower to blow away any loose debri, before we get our Mazzoni superheated boiler system fired up. This is the first step is to prepare the area for cleaning.

This includes us moving furniture and other items that may be in the way, once the area is prepped, the Mazzoni boiler is connected to a high pressure jetwash engine and is ready to work.

The boiler should be set to the appropriate temperature (up to 150°C) and the water pressure should be adjusted accordingly. Then a member of the pressure fresh team would then begin steam cleaning the surface being mindful whilst Jetting the surface with the high-temperature superheated steam as this will clean any stubborn dirt or grime and with temperatures of superheated water reaching temperatures of 150oc it will kill 99.9 % of any biofilm bacteria etc.. Once the user has completed the steam cleaning process, they should turn off the boiler and allow the surface to cool. Once the surface is cool enough to touch, we usually give the surface a light rinse down with a cold jetwash for a final rinse to ensure that all of the dirt grease and grime has been removed.
